How to Update Your Contact Details

A simple guide to updating your contact details.

Follow these steps to change your email, address and phone number. If you need any support with the site, please contact the Shiplake CONNECTED team: connected@shiplake.org.uk.

 

1. Login or register to Shiplake CONNECTED

2. On the Home page, click the arrow next to your profile picture in the top right of the screen. Choose My Settings in the dropdown box that appears. 

 

To update your email address:

1. Scroll down to Email and click Edit 

2. Click Edit to change your email address, remember to click Save to apply and save any changes made 

 

3. Click Add Email to add another email address, such as a work email 

4. Choose and email type in the dropdown box that appears and type your email address in, tick Default if you would like this new email address to become our primary point of contact for you via email

5. Click Save to add and save your new email address

 

To update your postal address:

1. Scroll down to Address and click Edit

 

2. Click Edit to change your address e.g. to correct a typo, you can click No longer in use if you no longer live at the address shown 

 

3. Click Add Address to add a new address to your record 

 

 

4. Select an adress type from the dropdown box that appears and type in your address, ticking Main Address will make this address our primary point of contact for you via post, make sure you click Save to add and save your new address 

 

 

To update your phone number:

1. Scroll down to Phone Numbers and click Edit 

 

2. Click Edit to change your current phone number or Add phone to add a new number  

 

3. Select a phone number type from the dropdown box that appears and type in your number, ticking Default will make this address our primary point of contact for you via phone, make sure you click Save to add and save your new address
