Friends of Shiplake is a dedicated group of individuals who play a vital role in supporting the College by assisting with large-scale events, talks, and serving as ambassadors for the school. Comprising alumni, parents, staff, and members of the local community, the Friends of Shiplake contribute their time, expertise, and resources to help organise and execute various events and initiatives at the school. Whether it's helping with a fundraising event, hosting a guest speaker, or representing the school at open morning events, Friends of Shiplake are instrumental in promoting the school's mission and values. If you feel you may be able to give your time but can’t commit to regular meeting attendance, you may want to consider becoming a ‘Friend of Shiplake’ – which operates on a more needs based, ad hoc basis.
In addition to their practical support, the Friends of Shiplake also serve as valuable advocates for the College, helping to raise awareness and generate interest among prospective students, parents, and supporters. By sharing their positive experiences and personal connections to the school, members of Friends of Shiplake help to strengthen the school's reputation and foster a sense of community spirit. Their dedication and commitment to the College play a crucial role in enhancing the overall Shiplake experience and ensuring the continued success and growth of the College.
