We love nothing more than seeing our Old Vikings sporting a Shiplake blazer. Whether it's lining the banks of the Thames to cheer on the rowers at Henley Royal Regatta or at an Old Viking social event, the more Shiplake stripy blazers the better!
Old Vikings are eligible and welcome to purchase a standard maroon, gold and black striped Shiplake blazer from our uniform suppliers Schoolblazer.
Alternatively, Old Vikings may wish to purchase a made-to-order Shiplake blazer or waistcoat by Perry.

For delivery by Henley Royal Regatta 2026, orders must be places before the deadline Monday 2 March.
Please note that only those who have competed at Henley Royal Regatta for Shiplake College, or current pupils who have been formally confirmed as eligible by the Director of Rowing, are permitted to order the Henley Blazer with gold trim or the Homegrown Henley Blazer with gold trim and lining. Importantly, Perry's CANNOT add the gold trim to other blazers after production.

Our Pre-loved uniform is donated by parents and is an invaluable source of Sports kit and formal uniform.

This shop only exists due to the generosity of parents for which we offer a big thank you. Any donations to the pre-loved Shop can be made by dropping into reception - please note we only accept Shiplake branded uniform, not generic school shirts/trousers/skirts.
All proceeds from the Pre-Loved Uniform shop go towards the College's Bursary and Hardship Fund.
Orders placed after 16 Dec 25 will not be fulfilled until 6 January 2026.
A small amount of new uniform, particularly for Rowing, can be found in the pre-loved shop. This is typically excess stock and will not be offered with printed or embroidered naming.

From Year 9 pupils will have the opportunity to try rowing at Shiplake. They will not require any specific kit initially and may participate wearing College sports clothing. Before the beginning of the Spring Term, pupils will indicate which major sport they will pursue. Pupils selected for Year 9 racing crews will need to purchase some additional items of rowing kit.
The Director of Rowing will contact parents about requirements at the appropriate time. Prior to their arrival at Shiplake College, it is very difficult to know how much rowing sixth form girls will become involved in. This can vary within each cohort and is very much dependent on the girls themselves and the level of commitment that they wish to make to the sport. As a result of the uncertainty, kit requirements are not defined in advance and we do not advise parents to purchase rowing kit for their daughters before they join the College if they will be novices/beginners. Loose fitting clothes are however more prone to getting caught in the seat slides and blade handles can sometimes get stuck in T-shirts which can hamper performance. Therefore, should pupils take part in rowing regularly, it is recommended they purchase an all-in-one for training, which will also be suitable for racing.
Other Boat Club kit is optional and can be purchased at a later date. All rowers who enter into competitions for the College require a Club (Bumblebee) All-In-One, Maroon leggings, black long-sleeve tech top, white short-sleeve tech top (you can so use cheaper alternatives as long as they are non-branded) and a black splash top (Catch Wind Shell). Please note that some items are for Senior Rowers only. There are also a couple of items that are available but not essential; the gilet and the softshell top. We have a limited number of brand new (mens and womens) Shiplake all-in-ones on our pre-loved shop which can be found here.
Our rowing kit partner Five57 have opened up an order window for new rowing kit ahead of the regatta season.
It will close at midnight on 8 February - so please make your orders by then to guarantee delivery.
