On Monday morning, the school warmly welcomed Jazmin from the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice, who spoke in assembly about the hospice's vital work. Members of the Parents' Association were able to proudly present a cheque for £14,000 to the charity, an incredible amount raised at the PA Summer ball this June.
The Summer Ball featured a raffle and silent auction with generous donations from local businesses and individuals. Prizes ranged from luxury getaways and spa vouchers to exclusive dining experiences, bespoke artwork, and sports memorbilia. Parents in attendance showed passionate support, bidding enthusiastically and giving generously throughout the night. You can read more about the night here.
The event not only provided an unforgettable evening but will also make a lasting impact on the children and families supported by Alexander Devine. The funds raised will enable the hospice to continue providing life-changing care and support for children with life-limiting conditions. Thank you to the PA and to everyone who supported!
