We are delighted to extend a cordial invitation to the inaugural Shiplake Union Debate, an evening of stimulating discourse and spirited debate, to be held in the Great Hall on Thursday, 8th May at 7:30 PM.

The evening will feature three engaging debates:

Emergency Debate: Open to all attendees, this debate will provide a platform for spontaneous and passionate discussion on a topic of immediate relevance.

Teachers vs Students Debate: Witness the intellectual clash between our esteemed educators and the bright minds of our student body.

Debate Team vs Old Vikings: Our current debate team will face off against the seasoned alumni, the Old Vikings. (Speakers to be confirmed)

The event will include refreshment and is scheduled to conclude by 9:30 PM.

Dress Code: Black Tie for Speakers. Black Tie encouraged but optional for other attendees.
