Old Viking News |
We heard from Old Viking Dafydd Davies who recently met up with school friend and OV Paul after nearly 50 years! Here's what Dafydd had to say:
"Paul and I had not seen each since around 1976, we were both in Skipwith. Paul left in 74 and I left the following year. Paul was visiting New Zealand on holiday and we caught up in Wellington where I have lived since 2004. We spent a day and a half together. We had a great time and the 50 years or so apart seems like months rather than decades!"
These stories prove how the bonds created at school truly last a lifetime and are a reminder of the lasting impact the Shiplake community has on it's students.
