We are delighted to announce that nominations for the Old Viking of the Year Award 2024 are NOW OPEN!
Over the past seven decades, our Old Vikings (the name given to former students and former staff) have consistently inspired us with their achievements in both their public and personal lives. The annual Old Viking Awards are our way of recognising and celebrating those outstanding individuals who have made a significant impact over the past year.
Last year we were honoured to recognise winners Nick Jones (81W), Harry Geisler (15E) and Doug McArthur (90O). You can read about their achievements here.
This year we hope to continue the tradition of celebrating outstanding OVs so if you know an Old Viking (former student OR staff) who has demonstrated notable achievements or excellence in their profession or voluntary work in 2024, we would love you to nominate them for an award. This individual would have acted as a role model for the Shiplake community and embodied the Colleges' core values: Inclusive, Individual, and Inspirational.
